Storage and Preservation Tips for Pressure Test Paper

　　Pressure test paper, also known as pressure sensitive paper, has strict storage requirements to maintain its performance. Unused film relies on intact microcapsules to realize pressure response. Improper storage will cause microcapsule pre-rupture, leading to background color stains and invalid measurement. Users must follow standardized storage rules to protect inventory.

　　Store pressure sensitive paper in cool, dry and dark warehouses. Recommended storage temperature ranges from 10℃ to 25℃, with relative humidity controlled below 65%. Avoid direct sunlight, ultraviolet radiation and heat sources. High temperature will soften microcapsule shells and trigger premature breakage. High humidity may degrade the chemical coating and reduce color development sensitivity.

　　Do not stack heavy objects on top of film rolls or sheets. External static pressure during storage will crush microcapsules and create false color marks. Keep the original sealed packaging intact before use. Take out only required quantity for each test and reseal the remaining stock promptly. Keep the product away from organic solvents, grease and corrosive chemicals, which will damage the functional coating.

　　Check shelf life before use. Expired pressure sensitive paper shows degraded color response and unstable density-pressure correlation. Once opened, finish testing within the recommended time window. After a test, store the colored sample in a dark and dry place if it needs to be archived. Remember that color will slowly fade over months, so scan and save digital copies immediately for permanent quality records. Good inventory management reduces waste and ensures stable, reliable test performance.
